You hold the key to set yourself free from anything that is holding you back. Now, knowing that in your head and feeling it in your heart - is another story!
When you feel trapped in a past pattern where you want things to change but you can’t seem to figure out how to bring about those changes - this is an indication of, what I refer to as, a worth block.
A worth block is when you try to make a change in a certain area of your life and you feel an energetic block that keeps you from what you truly want. This block is something that you can’t put your finger on. It’s unconscious and it’s frustrating to not know what the block exactly is or why it's keeping you stuck.

Have you ever considered that you may feel uncomfortable receiving and having more than you need? Therefore, you only ask for what you need vs. what you truly want?
Joel Osteen describes this well: "If we ask with a cup we will receive a cup’s worth. If we ask with a barrel we’ll receive a barrel’s worth."
So the question is: What limits are you putting on how much you ask for and how much you are willing to receive?
This question isn't limited to material things either. It's more focused around how you want to feel when you consider allowing yourself to...
“Pain is not wrong. Reacting to pain as wrong initiates the trance of unworthiness. The moment we believe something is wrong, our world shrinks and we lose ourselves in the effort to combat the pain. ~Tara Brach
I remember years back, when I had about a year of coaching under my belt, I hired a photographer to take some pictures of me for the new website I was creating.
This photographer was referred to me by a friend, and I had known that she recently got married and was going through some major transitions in her life.
For the photo shoot, she and I decided to meet in the woods near my home where we thought we could get some nice shots outside.
During the shoot, we chatted about a variety of things and our conversation eventually landed on...

One of the most common, and biggest untruths that I see in coaching work with clients is when someone believes their power is outside of them. This belief shows up in a variety of ways depending on where you are in your life stage.
Take work for example.
If you work for someone else, you no doubt have felt, at one point or another, that your employer/your boss has power over your well-being. Your fear may be that if you mess up or disappoint them, you'd be fired and your own sense of safety and security would be threatened.
Or say you work for yourself.
You may feel this belief even stronger - where you don't have the consistent income (a.k.a Source) of an employer plopping money into your account every other week. ...

In last week's article Keeping Commitments To Yourself I talked about conflicting priorities and if what you say you want isn't happening, you may be more committed to not changing for fear of losing something in your current life.
This fear of change also comes up because stepping into the unknown is cloudy. You don’t know what lies on the other side of your decisions.
Having a fear of the unknown is totally common - especially if you have a BIG Vision that you want to manifest and step into. You may daydream about things being different and better, but when you’re called on the carpet to actually commit those dreams to paper, it’s a whole different story.
Why is this?
When you are tasked with putting your Visions...

”The pain that you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that’s coming.” ~Romans 8:18
I heard a statement the other day that really struck me . I knew in an instant that it was true. Here it is: “The deeper the pain, the deeper the Truth there is to discover”.
We live in a world of contrast…opposites…light and dark…up and down….what goes up, must come down – and so on.
So, what does this mean to your life? A whole lot.
Consider an area of your life that has royally challenged you. An area that has maybe caused you pain or at least lots of discontent. Other areas of your life may flow easily (or easier) but this one area seems to...

“When you find your path, you must not be afraid. You need to have sufficient courage to make mistakes. Disappointment, defeat, and despair are the tools God uses to show us the way.” ― Paulo Coelho, Brida
The other day I had one of the best conversations with a new client whom, at the time, was trying to determine if now is the right time for her to start on the path of deeper Self discovery in life, work and relationships.
In our brief 20-minute call, she and I were able to determine the depth of her indecision and feeling overwhelmingly stuck. The key moment in the call was when she admitted: “I’m afraid to try again!”. She was so surprised when the words were uttered out of her mouth as she had no...

“To conquer frustration, one must remain intensely focused on the outcome, not the obstacles.” ~T.F. Hodge
You’ve most likely heard the expression – Energy flows where your focus/attention goes...so true but have you learned how to put this Truth into practical application in your life?
I bet there is an area, or maybe several areas, in your life that feel out of alignment with how you’d ultimately like them to feel/be.
Maybe it’s in the area of your career – or finances – or relationships – or your health/well-being.
Whatever the area(s) is that you want to change, you are most likely focusing on what isn't there (aka lack thinking) vs. what is already there (abundance...
Don’t let the opinions of the average man/woman sway you. Dream, and he/she thinks you’re crazy. Succeed, and he/she thinks you’re lucky. Acquire wealth, and she/he thinks you’re greedy. Pay no attention. She/He simply doesn’t understand.~Robert G. Allen
In my practice I work with people who are at two different stages of their career aspirations.
One scenario is you’re at a stage where you’re seeking a more meaningful experience with work and life - and need clarity on what that vision looks like and how you can formulate it and bring it into fruition.
The second scenario is, you already have a BIG Vision in mind and you now know it’s time to step-up and step-out...
